Riverton, Utah home sales have dropped off a bit from the previous quarter of 114 homes to 91 homes sold. This is also lower than the same time period last year.
The median sales price has come up to $275,000 from a low just two quarters ago of $265,000. Now is still a great time to purchase a home in Riverton, there are Short sales, foreclosures and good solid homes for a great price!

South Jordan home sales have remained solid with 159 homes sold in the third quarter. The median home price has dipped to $290,000 mostly due to short sales and foreclosures. This continues to be a great time to buy a home in the Salt Lake City area with incentives and the prevalent foreclosures and short sales. Salt Lake City home sales have been steady in the third quarter with 752 homes sold, not far off of the 778 homes sold last year during the same timeor the 779 homes from the second quarter. The median home prices have gone up a little to $227,000 from a bottom of $220,000 in the first quarter. Now is a perfect time to be purchasing a home especially for first time buyers.
