West Jordan, Utah home sales were a little down from the prior quarter with 265 homes sold. Home prices are much lower than in the past due to short sales and foreclosures. This trend will continue through at least the afourth quarter due to new short sales coming to market. Now is a greaat time to buy a home or investment property in West Jordan sellers are negotiable and the $8,000 tax credit is still available.

There is a lot going on this weekend in and around Salt Lake City, Utah - of course the Halloween grand finale, but also college football, the opener of the Utah Jazz.

Riverton, Utah home sales have dropped off a bit from the previous quarter of 114 homes to 91 homes sold. This is also lower than the same time period last year.
The median sales price has come up to $275,000 from a low just two quarters ago of $265,000. Now is still a great time to purchase a home in Riverton, there are Short sales, foreclosures and good solid homes for a great price!
