End of October – Big Weekend in Salt Lake City Utah
0 votes
October 30, 2009

There is a lot going on this weekend in and around Salt Lake City, Utah - of course the Halloween grand finale, but also college football, the opener of the Utah Jazz.

Tonight kicks off the 2009-2010 season for the Utah Jazz.  There are big hopes for Jerry Sloan and the Jazz this year.  From a historical standpoint at least, the Jazz couldn't have asked for     a more favorable opponent in tonight's home opener than the Los Angeles Clippers, losers     of 34 of 35 games all-time at our home court - EnergySolutions Arena.  It won't quite be the same without "Hot Rod Hundley" but things move on!  Game starts at 7pm tonight - tickets    still available!  You got to go, seeing the Bear alone is worth the price of admission - of course  I have a secret crush on him...more on that later!

The University of Utah (6-1) kicks off to Wyoming (4-3) 6pm Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.  Good luck getting tickets!  I'll be the one all bundled up!

BYU has a bye while Utah State University is at Fresno Saturday with kick-off at 3pm.

So if you don't already have Halloweeen plan, here are some options -
