Tip #2 - Buy a Home Near a Police Station to Save on Insurance

Insurance is a big expense. One great way to save on insurance is to buy a home that's near a police station. Because crime rates are so much lower, your insurance policy will be much cheaper as well. This tip alone could save you thousands of dollars over the years!

Tip #3 - Work with a Real Estate Agent

A good real estate agent has spent literally hundreds of hours studying how to get the best deal the possibly can for you. Statistics show that you'll save at least 6% on your final home purchase price by using a real estate agent.

Best of all, as the home buyer you don't have to actually pay the real estate agent's commissions.
