Although Salt Lake County home sales for the first quarter of 2009 hit the 1,376 level they were still down by 27% but home prices have remained stable dropping just 3% over first quarter last year.  The average price of a home in Salt Lake County was $282,000 for the first quarter.  This of course varies by area as is noted below.
