Here I am, on my way to Kauai tomorrow and I'm bummed that I'll miss Pond Skimming at The Canyons Ski Resort this year.  I love the tropics and Kauai especially but...Pond Skimming only comes once a year.  All this is due to a bad analysis of schedule.   I guess you might wonder what is Pond Skimming.  Pond Skimming is an annual spring event at The Canyons Resort that involes a pond dug out of the snow, seating on both sides and plenty of participants ready to ride down this ramp in costume and try to skm their skiis across this pond to the other side before they sink into the cold depths.  Check out these fun videos!
