I know this is a national chain - but, it is one of the very best - for national chins that is.  Had an opportunity to visit one of the organization's latest units right here in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah! 

Right at 275 S West Temple you pull into the valet area which used to be the drive-up window of the bank that previously held this location.  This and the vault inside are the only 2 clues left that it was a bank.  They have beautifully rebuilt the inside with majestic glass wine coolers and local art - comfy with a contemporary flair. 

Walk into the dimly light foyer pleasantly greeted by the host staff.  All were very pleasant and accommodating. There a a few dining rooms with tables and booths comfortably spaced.  There is an interesting glass enclosed private dining room. 

The wait staff was terrific in timing, suggestions and actual service - in fact Jessica was a great server. 

You do not want to be on a diet when coming to this establishment, like one of my fellow diners - not much low calorie offerings.  Ruth's Chris is all about flavor and richness!  They do their best to accommodate requests though. 

Their steaks are of the best quality and seared at 1800 degrees (that's not a typo!) YUM.

I split the Ruth's Famous Chopped Salad which was awesome and Todd had the "Wedge" which he loved.

Plan on sharing all side dishes since they are huge! 

So if you a looking for a BIG steak dinner at the highest quality go to the new Ruth's Chris!
