Here is a market update for the last 30 days in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Single Family Homes - 101 Homes Sold with 166 Under Contract

                Average price for these homes - $263,787 and the average Days on Market - 85 days

These numbers show a 13% increase in homes sold  in February than had been in January and a whopping 52% increasing in homes going under contract.  The average price of a home went up 3%.  40% of the homes sold were in the $200,000 - $300,000 price range.

Condominiums - 26 Condos Sold with 58 Under Contract

                Average price - $188,637 and the average days on the market - 79 days

The number of condominiums under contract almost doubled in the past month with the sold price going up 5%.

There are currently 1526 single family homes available and 683 condominiums available offering a wide variety of types and styles.  Now is a terrific time to purchase a home in Salt Lake City, Utah, there is plenty of inventory making sellers negotiable.  Just think, you can be moved in time for plenty of spring skiing!
